NABC’s workshop approval process is designed to encourage the development of well-constructed, expertly-taught classes and workshops. Submitting a course for approval shows support for NABC principles and techniques and committment to best practices. Participating trainers hosting an approved workshop benefit by the increased publicity. In addition to gaining criticial skills that can be documented as part of the training process, participating students receive a certificate from NABC acknowledging their participation.

Applications for NABC-approved training workshops must be submitted by the form below at least 30 days before the start of the training.  Approval is typically given for a 5-year span, provided that the primary instructors and curriculum do not appreciably change during that time.

In addition to basic contact information, trainers are asked to provide a detailed curriculum including training goals and objectives, subject(s) to be covered, and an agenda or timeline. We further ask that you develop a clear statement of expectations for participants. There is a space in the form below for you to upload curriculum documents; publicity materials can either be submitted here or sent to NABC upon workshop approval.
